Greek and Roman Gods and Goddesses

Special thanks to Kristen Grandfield, Yale - New Haven Teacher Institute

Projects

Preliminary Research

  1. Create a chart of major gods and goddesses and their attributes to present to our class.

  2. Come up with mnemonic devices to help us memorize the function of the gods and goddesses as well as their Greek and Roman names

  3. At the end of this first block of Four books, we will have a quiz on Greek, Roman, Function, and Symbol. For example, students may be given as a function or attribute ‘goddess of chastity’ and complete the blank with Artemis, Diana, and crescent moon/stag.
